That’s What I Want
Posted by: | CommentsSeriously people, there are things in life that just make you smile. Usually they are triggers of happy memories and a lot of times they continue to move you. For me I have to admit that every time I see the original ‘We Are The World’ clip I cry because it had such an impact on me at the time.
For those of you who are Australian you will remember the old BCC/Greater Union Theme Song below. It is one of my ringtones and just makes me smile every time I hear it. In fact it makes me want to jump around. If only someone out there could turn it into a remix I would be in heaven. I mean, being a theme song it’s only 30sec long. If anyone knows a DJ, talk them into remixing this for me. You just have no idea how awesome that would be and it would make my year.

We are the World 25
Posted by: | CommentsAs I expected, when I recently watched ‘We are the World 25′ it reduced me to tears and that is an understatement. When I saw the first release all those years ago I remember crying like a baby. Seeing the new one just brought back all those same emotions. This one for Haiti has an amazing ensemble from classic musicians to those we are still not sure have reached puberty lol. If you haven’t watched it please do.

To Gleek or not to Gleek
Posted by: | CommentsThere is a mixed reaction when you mention the Fox show Glee. Well for those critics out there let me tell you my story. It’s only just considering I love the show.
But why do I love it so? Simple. It makes me feel good. There are so many shows out there I love but none of them makes me feel as good as Glee. People can say it’s a bad show which is something I have heard but I don’t care. I think it’s awesome.
The show’s musical numbers are incredible. I mean in Episode 10 there was this one:

as well as an amazing rendition of True Colors which I’m sure you will find in a search.
This show is full of talented singers and dancers. There is no doubt in my mind that the best vocals are from Artie (Kevin McHale) who just has an incredible voice. As far as the best dancer, well that award would have to go to Mike (Harry Shum Jr) who not only has the best moves but is really cute lol.
If you’ve avoided this show, give it a go. There is a lot of real talent in this show and it is so worth a view.
