Real Talent
Posted by: | CommentsSometimes, very rarely on You Tube you come across real talent. Thanks to someone on my Twitter account I found this today. The arrangements and accompaniment are Kurt Schneider and the vocals Sam Tsui. Sam’s voice is amazing and you can tell he has more passion than anyone I have seen before. The first clip is a Michael Jackson medley and is awesome. The second is a great Leona Lewis number. Enjoy?

Helsing — Where Art meets my favourite image
Posted by: | CommentsI will use Helsing to talk about him just because I’m not sure of his privacy concerns on public sites. So anyway Helsing is an awesome guy who is on my Facebook friends list. Not only is he adorable but I get the impression he is a genuine guy who is inspired when it comes to his art.
Helsing uses a lot of medium’s to express his creativity from Photography to Charcoal. I am particularly impressed with some of his photography because it inspires me. So I thought I would mention him on here and let you know to check out some of his work HERE at DEVIANT ART.
But for now I will share a few pieces that I adore, mainly because they are of male angels. As many of you know this is my favourite imagery and it’s also the topic that is tattooed on my back. Privacy & Friend

Sorry about the title but I’m not having a good imagination day lol. Firstly let me talk about privacy. Well in particular some observations I have made.
I am quite amused at some of the comments I hear from people about people that give me attention on Facebook. It’s quite funny because I’ll hear “Oh …….. is paying you a lot of attention”, or “are you dating ……….”. It’s amazing that when someone pays you a little attention on a social networking site the gossip mill runs wild. I’m not saying any of it’s bad because a lot of it is my own fault. Why? Simply because I have kept things like my relationship status off there. So when you don’t tell people what you are up to they seem to like to guess. How cute is that. I am happy to keep certain aspects of my personal life personal. I mean, I have no problem saying on here that I have been successfully dating again and am at a point where I am seeing someone. I have been seeing this person for a considerable amount of time and the person is not local. That is where I will leave it. I will update the inner circle when I can because they deserve to know what is going on.
Now as for my next topic, it’s a story of a friend. Let’s make up a name to use here and call him Mark. Mark is a really great guy. My friendship with Mark is in it’s infancy but I know that he is already aware that I would cross states to help him if he was in trouble and I know he would do the same for me.
The thing is nurturing a new friendship can sometimes be exhausting. The reason is I am used to people who get to know me, working out very quickly that I am a good friend who can be trusted and they tend to talk to me about anything. The thing I have noticed is that Mark is not there yet. He still doesn’t like to share a lot and it’s so obvious that he has been really burnt in the past. He is very closed off in many ways but it’s understandable considering the hurt he has been through. The key for me is that I do hope that over time he will learn to break down some of those walls. I can see that one day he will make a great husband for someone but for now he has a lot of learning to do. Showing some vulnerability will be a big step for him but I will be there to see it.

This Point

I have had a very busy week and weekend. I have also been recovering from a bit of a head cold. I don’t normally get sick but I think it came from last Monday when I was stuck in a room for a whole day that was freezing. Oh, and not only was it freezing but the fans were on lol. So I don’t feel 100% at the moment and that is probably why I feel quite worn out, particularly physically.
However, I wanted to share a realisation that hit me today. I was sitting having lunch in Brisbane today and just feeling great when it hit me that this is the first time in several years where I have exactly the people around me that I need. I know that sounds vague so I’ll explain a little.
In the past, whether directly or on the surrounds I have found a lot of people in my bubble that are either full of bullshit, not nice people or just always drama queens. It’s not even they were all my friends but at times within my bubble as friends of friends etc.
Over the past four months or so there has been a lot of people exit from my circle, there have also been a lot of new people enter my circle and there have been people from my circle that have taken on a completely new meaning or role for me. So with all this change I guess it has been not stop so all of a sudden I realised the quality and beautiful people that are around me at the moment. It’s amazing when you are used to a lot of drama around you that when it’s not there you just feel so real.
I am so grateful to the universe for the people in my life right now. A lot of them I don’t necessarily talk to frequently but they are there and of such a caliber. I am blessed and feel so lucky right now. I know there will be ups and downs in the future, but I feel content that things are on the right track.

Heaven
Posted by: | CommentsJust a quick note to say I’ve been flat out and will write soon. I’ve been working on a Masters Thesis with a friend and have been catching up on some personal growth. But to carry you over the next few days if I don’t get a chance to get back I thought I would give you a picture of Heaven.
