Pom Wonderful
As you may have read in my post dated 30/12/08 I agreed recently to test a new juice product and tell you what I think.
The product I was sent to try was the POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice. As you would expect I will tell you exactly what I thought good or bad.
Now, I was sent three 473ml (16oz) bottles of the 100% Pomegranate Juice and decided to put it to the test. Pomegranate Juice is promoted as being extremely high in antioxidants as well as having numerous other health benefits which you can read about here on the official site and here on Wikipedia. The official site states that the pomegranate has health benefits in the following areas:-
- Cardiovascular
- Prostate
- Erectile Function
- Antioxidants
Now the official site states recommends 8oz a day of the juice which means one bottle of the juice should last two days. So in effect I received a six day supply. As with any new regime this probably wasn’t enough to see huge benefits for me and perhaps a two week supply would have been better however, in the six days I was drinking the juice I did see some noticeable increases in how I felt. These included:
- Increase in energy
- Definite improvements in my skin (usually attributed to antioxidants)
- Increase in concentration
- Decrease in tiredness
Now as a starting point for only six days use this was a great start. Now there are many products out on the market that promote benefits similar to these including the controversial Noni Juice which has been around for a while. However POM is the easiest to obtain being available in supermarket juice sections.

My opinion is that this product is well worth trying. In Australia it retails for RRP$4.98 and this gives two days worth of juice. I would recommend putting this product to the test and making your own decision. In only 6 days I feel better for using it and I think you will to.
